NASI GORENG
Nasi Goreng is one of the national dishes of Indonesia and can be found almost anywhere.
Be it a roadside stall to the most expensive of restaurants.
This basic meal is a spicy flavoured rice with other added ingredients.
From maybe just vegetable with a little meat
to nasi goreng special with everything from chicken to prawn and pork all in the same dish.

INGREDIENTS
3 CUPS WHITE RICE
5/6 SHALLOTS
3/4 GARLI CLOVES
3 RED CHILLIES (SEEDED
3/4 TBS KECAP MANIS (SWEET SOY SAUCE)
2 TBS TOMATO PASTE
1 EGG PER PERSON
PREPERATION
First boil the rice until cooked.
Then allow to stand until cool.
Chop up the shallots garlic and chilli.
Add some oil to the pan and cook the shallots, garlic and chilli.
Add the soya sauce and tomato puree to the shallots ,garlic and chilli.
And finally stir in the cooked rice to the mix.
Serve with a fried egg on top.
If you wish you can add more soya sauce or chilli to make it more to your taste once served.
